We hope it’s not corn-y to say that you’ll love this tea! Maker North Fleet creates it in Touyako Town, Hokkaido using a special type of sweet corn called Gold Rush. And you’ll find a little tea goes a long way: one bag can make 500 ml, or two mugs worth of tea!

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS:

Steep one tea bag for two to three minutes in up to two cups of water.

Tokibi Cha Tea can also be made as Cold Brew: Simply steep ten to fifteen minutes in cold water.

"This tea is unusual in that it doesn't fall into the usual categories of herbal, green, black, and so on, or the usual flavor profiles of earthy, fruity, floral, and sweet. It has a gentle taste like that of corn flakes, and while I usually prefer stronger-tasting teas, the gentle taste works here. It doesn't have caffeine, and this is a great tea to drink at night to relax. The smell is bothersome at first, but it stops bothering you after you've gotten used to it.
