This mix of assorted senbei rice crackers is inspired by poetry, specifically a haiku written by maser-poet Yosa Buson, who delicately and vividly depicted the changing of the seasons and the human heart. These rice crackers use the Japanese style of Fukiyose, or a medley of diverse objects, to create seasonal feelings through the senses.

Shaped like sakura flowers, leaves, berries, and more, the senbei evoke the idea of being blown together by the wind to create a disordered yet harmonious seasonal mix as seen in nature.

It's a beautiful jewel-box-like appearance in the cute reusable canister. The senbei come in many flavors, including ginger, kombu (kelp), sakura, shrimp, shoyu (soy sauce), sweet potato, matcha, sesame, sugared, and more so that every bite is a different, delicious surprise!

One Tin - Many Flavors!

"This was another "gift" that we ended up grabbing for ourselves this holiday season. I thought we might need a few more senbei to finish off the dips from the other gift box. We didn't ever get to put that to the test, however, because we opened it up to see what it was all about. . . and then it was all gone! Sweet, savory, spicy, crunchy, chocolate(yes there's chocolate covered senbei, and it works!), every craving you could imagine is handily handled by these crispy crackers. It's a bit smaller than we thought it would be, since in America something like this would be a big ol' cookie tin, so take that into consideration before buying. Other than that, though, an absolute bundle of deliciousness and a very pretty tin!"
