Sakura is only in full bloom for a week, and when the blossoms come out, so do the people. In Japan, it’s customary to view the cherry blossoms in an event known as \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ci data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\" data-mce-style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003ehanami\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/i\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\" data-mce-style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e. One of the best places for hanami is in Kyoto, Japan’s former capital. You can take in Kyoto’s historical beauty by viewing cherry blossoms in parks, castles, temples, and shrines.
